Las Vegas, NV - Arthur Glass, aged 97, died peacefully at home June 30,2025. He was laid to rest next to his beloved wife Sandy on July 2, in Savannah, Georgia.

Arthur was the son of Mollie and Isidore Glass. He spent his early years in the Bronx, New York. He played high school and college basketball. He was on the 1950 City College of New York team that won the NCAA and NIT tournaments in the same year.

Arthur served in the United States Coast Guard. He joined his father in the insurance business and spent his entire career selling insurance. The last 25 years of his career were as a proud State Farm Insurance agent.

Arthur met Sandy, the Georgia peach, from Savannah and they married September 24, 1955. They had 3 children, Jackie Glass (Steve), Robin Feldman (Chuck) and Amy Glass Cooper. Arthur had 4 grandchildren Rachel Wolfson Rebecca Wolfson, Samuel Feldman (Paige) and Max Cooper.

Once Sandy passed away, Arthur relocated to Las Vegas. He resided for many years in Sun City Summerlin. Most recently, Arthur lived at Atria Seville.

Our family thanks the caregivers and staff at Atria who helped care for Arthur as well as the staff from Brighton Hospice.

We would also like to thank all of the members of the Savannah community who came to the service and visited with us to express their condolences. Our cousins Lawrence and Robin Brody graciously open their home for us to conduct Shiva.
