BARBARA CARR

Barbara Ann Carr, age 76, passed away peacefully on July 6, 2026, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV. Born in Southern California, Barbara was a University of Nevada Las Vegas alumni. She was known for her work ethic, kindness and commitment to others during her 30-year career at the Southern Nevada Health District. She was an avid UNLV Runnin' Rebels fan and Vegas Golden Knights fan. Barbara believed in giving back to others and did so by volunteering for many years at the Las Vegas Ronald McDonald House and was recognized as an Outstanding Volunteer in 2011. She loved to prepare lunches for the families. Barbara touched the lives of everyone who had the honor of knowing her. Her selfless warmth and generous spirit will be remembered forever. She was endlessly encouraging - the first to send a thoughtful message, celebrate a success, or remind you to stay positive and keep going when things were hard. Barbara leaves behind a legacy of kindness, caring, and compassion. She truly lived by "Live, Laugh, Love." Barbara was preceded in death by her parents Norbert and Evelyn Carr. She is survived by her sister Debbie Roberts; brother-in-law, Randy Roberts; sister, Sheri Aldrich and brother-in-law Monty Aldrich. Services to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at 10:00 am on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
