Henderson, NV - Bonnie Dawn Baxter, 69, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away peacefully of natural causes on July 16, 2026, surrounded by the people she loved most. Born April 19, 1957, in Spanish Fork, Utah, Bonnie lived a life defined by faith, family, compassion, and quiet strength. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence Baxter and Ferne Madsen; her Aunt Jean Hardy; her brothers, Brad and Randy; and her beautiful daughter, Michelle Dawn DeJong.

Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband of 36 years, George Staresinic; her brother, Curt of Mesa, Arizona; her son Christopher Staresinic and his wife, Kayla, and their sons Brooks and Bennett of Henderson, Nevada; her son Dylan Staresinic and his wife, Courtney, and their children Grayson and Sawyer-Joelle of Rogers, Arkansas; and her granddaughter Chloe McCorkle of Charlotte, North Carolina.

After losing her parents at a young age, Bonnie and her brother Curt moved to Las Vegas in 1977, where Aunt Jean remained a steady and loving presence in her life. Bonnie worked at the Sands Hotel and later at Weddle/Caldwell Advertising Agency, where she met George in 1989. They married the following June and within a short time, they had two sons; their family was complete.

Bonnie's greatest joy was being a mother. She raised three loving children who knew her simply and proudly as "The Mom." Her bond with Michelle, lovingly known as Shelly, was especially deep, and they were inseparable until Shelly's passing in 2015. Bonnie's heart was big enough to make many of her children's friends feel like family, and many stayed close to her throughout her life.

Her faith grew during her 12 years serving as an administrative assistant to the pastors at Christ The Servant Lutheran Church. In 2010, she found what felt like her true calling at The Salvation Army, where she served until her retirement earlier this year. Beyond her skill with numbers, Bonnie had a gift for encouragement, offering kindness and strength to coworkers and others when they needed it most.

To her five grandchildren, Bonnie was "Bebe," and the love she had for them was immeasurable. They were her joy, her pride, and, in so many ways, her strength until the very end. She loved Elvis, as anyone who saw her memorabilia collection knew. Bonnie also loved Disneyland but nothing ever came close to the love she had for her family.

Bonnie's life was always about family, and the love she gave will remain with all who were blessed to know her. Rest in peace, Bebe. You were deeply loved, and you will be forever missed. A Celebration of Life will be forthcoming.
