Carolyn Ritner Porter (72) passed away peacefully at a private care home on April 7, 2022. She was born August 30, 1949 to Lyle & Cathryn (Brassfield) Ritner in Salem, Oregon. She lived the first 6 years of her life in Pedee, Oregon, until the family relocated to Point Arena, California and settled in Henderson, NV in 1957. She graduated from Basic High School class of 1967. She married Daniel Porter on December 21, 1972. She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel on December 25, 2013. She is survived by her daughter Shannon Porter (Las Vegas) and brother Monty Ritner (Henderson). A private graveside service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery in Boulder City, NV, where she will be interred with her husband. The family wishes in lieu of flowers, donations in her memory be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
