CLIFFORD R. BEADLE
Clifford R. Beadle, "Cliff", passed away in the early morning of January 16, 2026 in Boise, ID, at the age of 75. He is survived by his wife, Claudia A. (Zlomke) Beadle (74) and daughters Courtney Wilson (43) and Stephanie Burr (40). Cliff was born on June 11, 1950 in East St. Louis, Illinois. He was the son of Clinton M. Beadle and Anna A. Hotto (Beadle). Cliff has three surviving siblings, Harry Beadle (83), Diana Sucka (81), and James Beadle (72).
Cliff was a St. Louis Cardinal fan from birth and was able to see 5 of the 11 World Series wins, 10 of their 19 National League pennants, and all 15 Division titles, but who's counting...Cliff was!
Growing up, Cliff worked on farms baling hay. As a child, Cliff wanted to fly planes and enjoyed learning about different aircrafts. Cliff met Claudia, his high school sweetheart, at August High School in Augusta, Kansas. They were married in Augusta, Kansas on December 29, 1970. They moved to Wichita, Kansas where Cliff earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Wichita State University in 1972. He was offered his first job out of college as a staff accountant for Fox & Company. In 1973, Fox & Company asked Cliff to help start an office in Boise, Idaho. The couple moved to the "Hawaii of the Rockies" as they referred to it. They enjoyed five years in the high desert of Boise. In 1978, he was asked to move to Las Vegas, Nevada to grow that office. He eventually made partner and was the youngest partner at the age of 30. In 1980, the company merged with Grant Thorton where he remained as a partner for several more years. In 1982, the couple started to grow their family having their first born followed by the second girl in 1985.
In 1996, Cliff decided to start his own CPA firm, C.R. Beadle, Ltd, supporting accounting and taxes for small businesses. He was an equity member of the Las Vegas Country Club for roughly 30 years where some of his best memories of Vegas were formed. As a Certified Public Account (CPA) in Nevada and Idaho, Cliff was active in the Las Vegas community and served on the 73rd president of the Las Vegas Rotary Club, 1986 President of the Southern Nevada Executive Council, 1982-1983 Las Vegas Chapter President of the National Association of Accountants, was a member of the American Accountants Association, Idaho Society of Certified Public Accountants, Nevada Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Late in his career, Cliff realized his ability to prepare business valuations. He supported many attorneys with dispute resolutions and litigations as an expert witness testifying in court and was deposed on many occasions. He enjoyed this work and was very good at it.
After 35 years in Las Vegas and seeing his youngest daughter married at the Las Vegas Country Club (and the St. Louis Cardinals win the World Series), Cliff and Claudia packed their bags and headed back to Boise, Idaho to re-live the wonderful experience they had earlier in their marriage. Boise did not let them down. Cliff continued practicing part-time as a business valuation and expert witness for several more years in Boise with Little Morris, LLP. He officially retired from Little Morris, LLP in early 2024 but continued to support work and provided advice as needed.
Cliff was the life of a party and a great storyteller. He was a great cook and enjoyed grilling. His favorite cocktail was a glass of Wild Turkey 101 Bourbon on the rocks. He enjoyed theatre, did crossword puzzles, and was an avid "skim" reader and devoured several books a week. He took his family to every air and space museum in the country sharing his passion for airplanes. He was adventurous and would take his wife and daughters out for "never-ending" car drives as they recall it. Cliff drove cars that fit like a glove and could corner at top speeds. He was a Disney fan and wore a leather strapped analog Mickey Mouse everywhere he went.
He was Christian and attended True Hope in Boise, Idaho on a regular basis.
Cliff did not want a funeral. Please send condolences to Claudia Beadle and donate in lieu of flowers to the American Heart Association.
