St. George, Utah - St. George, Utah - Darlene West, age 80, found peace on January 19, 2026 at 2:16am. She was born August 6, 1945 in Coalville, Utah to mother Twila (Lefler) Crandall and father Jack Crandall. She married Robert West, February 1, 1964.

Darlene was raised in Oakley, Utah and graduated from South Summit High School on May 23rd, 1963. Darlene traveled right alongside her hubby living in many places all over the world including Oregon, Virginia, England, Scotland, just to name a few. They eventually planted roots in Heber City, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada where they remained until August, 2025. Darlene took great pride in being a homemaker while also spending some time helping to run Meineke, their family owned business. Darlene loved spending time with her grandkids (more than anything in the world), music, dogs (Copper, Cuddles, Lucy, and Piper), Red Vines, flowers and making sure everyone else was always taken care of.

She is survived by her husband Robert West (St. George, Utah), children Edward (Elizabeth) West, James (Shannon) West, Kendra (Cory) Frey, grandchildren April (Connor) Mills, Brandon (Ali) West, Tristan, Tanner, Peyton, Chase, Gabriella, Easton, Jackson, and great grandchildren Charlotte and Tommy. She is preceded in death by her parents Jack and Twila Crandall, daughter Kimberly, and sister Janice (Smith) Lunt.

Funeral services will be Friday, January 23, 2026. Viewing begins at 12:30pm with service to follow at 2:00pm. The service will be held at Dixie Spring Chapel located at 4210 W. Dixie Springs Dr., Hurricane, UT 84737.
