DAVID L STEVENSON

David passed away November 8, 2025, at home. David was born in a small coal mining town of Toole, Utah on June 22,1938, to parents Bud and Marie Stevenson. Because of his health issues the family moved to warmer Henderson, Nevada around 1950. David was educated in local schools including Basic High School, Nevada Southern University, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1963. After returning to Las Vegas he began his career in nuclear science with the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Energy, and related fields.

David is survived by his wife of 63 years Barbara, son Tom (Jenna) and sister Judy Ahlstrom. He was preceded in death by son Mike, He also leaves 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

David's greatest joy was classical music and his family. He was famous for his sense of humor and his ability to turn every situation into laughter. Among his many talents was his expertise in do-it-yourself projects. He could fix anything and spent many happy hours puttering in the garage. There wasn't anybody who didn't like Dave!

At his request there will be no services.
