It is with deep sadness that the family of Diane Elaine Giambattista (Lui) announces her passing on September 6, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 72 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Diane was born in 1952 to Don and Joan (Fredrikson) Lui and was the eldest of five children.
Diane was a shy and quiet child who was born and grew up in Racine, Wisconsin. She attended St. John Nepumuch Catholic Church and graduated from Horlick High School. She worked at Case Manufacturing and the Racine Credit Bureau until moving to Las Vegas in 1979. She worked as a Change Person at the Silver Bird and El Rancho where she met Ken, she also worked at Walmart for 15 years.
On June 3, 2000, she married Kenneth P. Giambattista Sr. Together they enjoyed traveling, bowling and bingo. Diane enjoyed doing crafts, painting and pen pals.
Diane is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Joan Lui and her brother, Donald Lui Jr. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth P. Giambattista Sr., stepchildren Christina, Nicholas and Kenneth Giambattista Jr; brothers Scott (Christine) Lui, David Lui, Sandra Gonzalez; nieces and nephews, David Jr., Jose Jr., Jessica, Ryan, Brittany and grandnephew and niece, Tyson and Alaia. Diane will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be 4:00-8:00 pm on October 1, 2025, at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, NV 89123). Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on October 2, 2025, at St. Viator Catholic Church (2461 E. Flamingo Road Las Vegas, Nevada 89121).
