Donna Marie Wallingford-Uriarte

Donna passed away on May 18, 2022 surrounded by Family at Saint Rose Hospital in Henderson, Nevada. She was born on September 4, 1962 and raised in Tulare, CA. Then her family moved to Visalia, CA.

Graduated Mt. Whitney High School 1980, College of The Sequoias 1982.

Loved performing in the school band/orchestra, playing flute, where she mastered a solo performance of "The Stars & Stripes" playing piccolo.

Became a Cosmetologist, then went on to work as an EMT for Mobile Life Support and completed a degree as a Licensed Vocational Nurse where she currently worked the past eight years at TLC in Henderson, NV.

She loved being a nurse ! She was a healthcare advocate and worked hard to bring wonderful care to all her patients including their families..

Donna loved country music, going to concerts, the Woodlake rodeo and two stepping. She was fun loving and spent many weekend outings on her boat, teaching her children water skiing and enjoying being active on the lake.

She also enjoyed spending time at the family cabin in the Sequoia mountains and at California beaches.

A hobby of Donnas was playing keno and bingo with family/friends and she would always brag that one day "I'm going to win Big!", which she did win a jackpot.

Her number one passion was her family and grandkids which she would spend most of her time showing all her Love. She was Katie's number one supporter and fan during her daughter's many years playing softball.

Donna is survived by her Mother Janice Switzer Giddings, Visalia, CA. her three daughters; Cindy Holycross, Visalia, CA. Tanya Mittle (Kyle), Exeter, CA. Katie Dutcher (Nate), Henderson, NV. her three sisters; Patricia Fedele (Stephan) Henderson, NV./Huntington Beach, CA., Kathy Lee (Grant) Washington State, Barbara Giddings Boring (Wayne), Fresno, CA. Her four brothers Richard Wallingford (Jennifer) Paso Robles, CA. Donnie Wallingford (Mari) Washington State, David Giddings (Linda) Santa Maria, CA. Robert Giddings, Visalia, CA.

Nine grandchildren, Jaden, Jenna, Kylie, Asher, Kyler, Dakota, Peyton, Riley & Noah.

She is also survived by multiple extended family members.

Donna is predeceased by her Father Don Wallingford and Stepfather William Giddings.

Funeral services will be held June 11, 2022 at the Visalia Cemetery 0930, reception to follow.
