Henderson, Nevada - Dwain Jesse Schrader passed away May 15, 2026, at age 74.

Born April 21, 1952, to Wilford Henry and Gertrue Ethel Schrader, Dwain grew up in Bountiful, Utah, and later moved to Las Vegas in 1988. He worked as an engineer at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada until retiring in 2020.

Dwain was a devoted father, husband, grandfather, and friend known for his humor and love of family.

He is survived by his wife, Evangeline Sarabia Schrader; children Wil (Sara) Schrader and Jenne (Brandon Whitney) Schrader; grandson Logan Theo Whitney; stepdaughters Katrina and Karla Jhoy Sarabia; former spouse Sue Coomes; brother Donald LeRoy (Lois) Schrader; and many extended family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his son, Travis Eldon Schrader; wife, Janelle Luann Gibson; parents; and siblings Janet Louise Knight, Wilford "Sonny" Paul Schrader, and Darryl Robert Schrader.
