130 Arbor Way, Henderson NV - Edward, Ed, or Fast Ed, enjoyed traveling across the United States as well as abroad, shooting Sporting Clays and Trap, hunting, fishing, camping, sitting around the fire pit, cookouts and spending time with his family and friends. He was active in both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts when his sons and grandchildren were in scouting. He served as the camp coordinator for the overnight Boy Scout camping experiences from 2009 to 2014. Ed was a member of E. Clampus Vitus, a fraternal organization dedicated to the preservation of the heritage of the Western United States gaining new friends and fun adventures for over 10 years.
Ed worked in construction as a site coordinator, project manager, and owner's representative, here in Nevada, across the United States, and overseas. He built and or remodeled power plants, waste treatment plants, housing developments, casinos, and worked on the Nevada Test site in multiple areas.
Ed is survived by his older brother, Paul Howard Ridenour residing in Chandler, Arizona, has a loving wife of 35 years, Kelly Sturdy; two sons, Eric Edward Ridenour married to Heather Ridenour and Maximilian Paul Ridenour. Both sons live in Henderson, Nevada. Ed is also survived by his two grandsons, Eric Alexandre Ridenour and Nicholas Alan Ridenour.
Funeral/Memorial service will be held at 5pm, Thursday, December 4th, 2025, at Christ the Servant Lutheran Church on 2 South Pecos Road, Henderson, NV. A Celebration of Life with take place directly after the service at The Pro Gun Club located at 2801 US 95 South, Boulder City, Nevada, 89005.
