Summerlin, NV - Betty Green, 98, passed peacefully at Las Ventanas on Friday, September 12th, under hospice care. A widow of 15 years, Betty and her late husband owned a Spa-tel in Desert Hot Springs for 22 years, before moving to Summerlin. A Charter Resident of Las Ventanas at Summerlin, she was active with committees, event planning, decorating, flower arranging and even inventory. She was a strong woman, not afraid to speak up, but with the best interests of Las Ventanas at heart. She is survived by her niece, Trischa Bennett, of Pasadena, California.

There will be no local service; she requested she be toasted by those who cared for her. She will be interred in British Columbia, in the family plot.
