Erik William Norton
January 12, 1967 - April 1, 2025
Erik William Norton, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on April 1, 2025, at Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 58 years old.
He is survived by his loving mother, Victoria Brown; his brother, Kane and his family; and the Spinks and Nick-DiFelice families. All of whom loved him deeply and will carry his memory forward with pride and affection. He is preceded in death by his father, William Donald Norton. Erik carried the strength and values instilled in him by his parents throughout his life, honoring their legacy in all he did.
Born and raised in the heart of Las Vegas, Erik was a true son of the city — a man with a heart as big as the desert sky and a spirit as vibrant as the lights on the Strip. To know Erik was to know warmth, laughter, and loyalty. He had a gift for making people feel like family, and to so many, he truly was. Whether you met him once or knew him for years, you walked away feeling like you'd just spent time with a brother. Erik graduated from Valley High School in 1985, where he made lifelong friendships. He went on to attend college courses at El Camino college and University of Nevada Reno, always striving to grow and build a future for himself.
Erik had a deep love for the game of golf and could often be found out on the course, enjoying the sun and the challenge of the game. A proud Las Vegas local, he embraced everything the city had to offer — from weekend outings to his favorite spots for cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights with true hometown pride. He was also a devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, always repping the black and gold with passion. Sports were more than just entertainment for Erik — they were part of his identity and a connection he shared with friends and family alike.
Erik was a dedicated and talented tradesman who proudly owned and operated his own plumbing company. He took pride in serving the Las Vegas community for over 30 years. His integrity and craftsmanship will be remembered in countless homes and businesses across the city.
Though Erik's time with us was cut far too short, the impact he made on those around him will live on in every life he touched. He had a way of showing up for people, of offering support without being asked, and of turning everyday moments into memories worth keeping. His laughter, generosity, and unmistakable presence will be missed deeply but remembered always.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on April 25th at Bunkers Eden Vale Mortuary, located at 925 N Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV. A gravesite ceremony will follow at 12:00 PM. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date, where friends and family will gather to share stories, laughter, and memories of a man who meant so much to so many.
Rest easy, Brother. You were one of a kind, and you will be forever missed.
