Flora McClinton McFarling, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada, at the age of 81.

Born on February 17, 1945, in East Prairie, Missouri, Flora lived a life rooted in faith, family, strength, and love. She was known for her feisty spirit, radiant smile, and joyful personality. Flora was truly the life of the party - full of laughter, wisdom, style, and unforgettable energy that drew people to her everywhere she went.

Above all else, Flora deeply loved her family. Affectionately known as the favorite auntie, she had a special way of making everyone feel loved, welcomed, and important. She was a devoted mother who poured into her daughters her unwavering love for Christ, her strong work ethic, her drive for excellence, and the importance of family.

She is survived by her daughters, Addie McFarling (Bubba Davis) of Las Vegas, Nevada; Starla Jordan (Fouston Jordan) of North Las Vegas, Nevada; and Crystal McFarling of North Las Vegas, Nevada; her sister, Marie Roberts (Frank Roberts) of Gary, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.

Flora was preceded in death by her parents and all of her siblings except her sister, Marie Roberts.

Though our hearts are heavy, we rejoice in knowing that Flora's faith carried her home to eternal peace. Her love, laughter, wisdom, and beautiful spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A private burial at sea honoring Flora's wishes will take place at a later date.
