FRANCES PHILLIPS

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Frances Phillips, a cherished and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. Fran passed away on June 9, 2025, at the age of 79. She was born in St. George, Utah to her parents Francis and Violet Graff, but she spent most of her life in Las Vegas. Fran was very loving; she had a big generous heart and had many lifelong friends that she loved to talk on the phone with. Fran loved to decorate and was an avid collector of Native American Indian art as well as owls. Fran was a stay at home while her children were small, and she loved to make pinecone wreaths and center pieces. She also enjoyed writing poetry, spending time with her grandchildren and playing Scrabble. Later Fran and her husband Vern opened Construction Sealants & Supply and there they worked together side by side for over 45 years. She was a meticulous bookkeeper and a friend to all she worked with.

Fran is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Violet Graff, Husband Vern Phillips, sisters Linda Truran, Barbara O'Brien and grandson Devin Phillips. She is survived by her brother Darwin, her three children Tyler (Jayme) Phillips, Julie (Erik) Moreno, Breck (Darlene) Phillips, 5 grandchildren, Aleksandr (Elena) Phillips, Dakota (Maddie) Phillips, Tanner Phillips, Morgan Moreno, Gavin Moreno and step grandchildren Devon Devalle and Dustin Pelican.

Fran will be laid to rest at Bunkers Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to invite you to a Celebration of Life on Saturday August 2nd at Ventano's Italian Grill from 12-3 in the afternoon. Ventano's is located at 191 S. Arroyo Grande Boulevard, Henderson, Nevada, 89012.
