FRANCES DOREEN WALLACE

Frances Wallace went to meet the Lord on April 4, 2025. She was born on June 13, 1944 in LeVerkin, Utah to Stella and Lynn Watson. Her family moved to Henderson, NV when she was 7 years old. Fran graduated from Basic High School in 1962. She married John Hinkell in 1963. They had two children; Michael and Kimberly. They divorced in 1983. Fran worked at the Nevada Test Site for a short time and then began a career with the Clark County School District as a transportation analyst and school secretary. She retired in 2005. Fran married Matthew Wallace in 1992 and they spent 33 wonderful years together until her passing. During their marriage they traveled extensively in the United States and Europe. Matt had his own airplane and they loved to fly together all over the western United States.

Fran was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She was an accomplished artist who painted many lovely landscapes and still life paintings. Fran was loved by all who knew her because she, herself, was such a warm , loving person with a big hear and a wry sense of humor.

She is survived by her husband Matthew, son Michael (Sandra) Hinkell, daughter Kimberly (Sam) Bailey; grandson Sam and granddaughters Emma and Olivia Bailey and granddaughters Madison and Dylanne Hinkell. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Darell and Leland Watson and sisters Yvonne Watson, Anita Judd and Sally Canada.

A visitation will be held for Fran on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 From 2 to 5 PM at Palm Mortuary, 7400W. Cheyenne Ave. , Las Vegas, NV 89129, A funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 16 at 11:00 AM at St Joseph, Husband of Mary Roman Catholic Church , 7160 W Sahara Ave, Burial services will be April 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM at Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005
