Gene Jay Cobb, 85, passed away on August 22, 2022, after a valiant fight against Alzheimer's disease. He was born on March 18,1937 to Ross and Lena Cobb in Brigham City, Utah.
Gene is preceded in death by Janet, his wife of 40 years, as well as his parents, Ross and Lena Cobb, and younger brother, Ross.
He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Lloyd and Bonnie Ivie; his children, Kathy (Steve) Weitz, Mary Ann Kleven, Sandra (Ben) Kramer, Mark Cobb and Elizabeth (Andre) Holmes; 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for September 17, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Hwy in Henderson, NV. Interment is October 12, 2022, 11:20 a.m. at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Drive in Boulder City, NV.
