Gilbert George Gomez age 85 of Las Vegas NV passed away Friday July 11, 2025 at UMC Las Vegas. He was born November 28, 1940 in Kalihi, Hawaii.

Gilbert loved being around his grandchildren & great grandchildren & spent any time he could with them. During his high school years he was a swimmer for Farrington High School on Oahu, Hawaii & he loved the water. When he got older he loved to race & work on cars. He was also a retired truck driver from Oahu who moved to Las Vegas with his late wife Shirley-Ann Kuulei Gomez & children in 2001.

He is survived by his daughters Tabitha Gomez, Bernette Gomez-Villegas, son in-law Kahea Villegas, 8 grandchildren, & 6 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held for family on a date to be announced by his daughters.
