Las Vegas, NV - Gregory "Greg" Michael Fissel passed away peacefully on May 3rd, 2025 in Las Vegas, NV due to heart failure. Greg was born in San Francisco, CA on October 17, 1960 to Elaine Fissel and the late Gary Fissel. He grew up in San Rafael, CA, and graduated from Marin Catholic in 1979. He then attended UNLV where he majored in Business/Hotel Management and graduated with his bachelor's degree in 1983. Greg went on to work at various hotels and casinos in Las Vegas, the latest being at the Wynn Resorts Race and Sportsbook before retiring.

In addition to his mother, Greg is survived by his brother, Marc Fissel of Henderson NV, cousins and friends who were blessed to know him. He will be greatly missed by all. Greg enjoyed playing and watching golf, movies, and cheering on the San Francisco Giants and 49ers. He also spent considerable time visiting and helping his mom in California following the death of his dad. Greg will be remembered for his sense of humor, temperament, and kindness.

In accordance with Greg's wishes, his final resting place will be at Mt.Olivet Catholic Cemetary in San Rafael, CA where his dad is buried. Services there will be private. If you wish to make a donation in his memory, the family requests the American Heart Association or the charity of your choice.
