HEATHER A. GELLNER
Heather A. Gellner, born May 12, 1980 in Las Vegas, NV, suddenly and unexpectedly passed away on July 16, 2024 at the way too young age of 44 years old. Heather will be most remembered for her outgoing personality, natural beauty, sense of humor, and great love of life. She was a free spirit who positively and joyfully impacted everyone she met. She loved and cared for her family more than anything. Her immediate family consisted of her mother, Margaret (Peggy), who passed away several years earlier, her father, Christopher G., a retired Nevada attorney, her beloved son, Mathew, who recently became engaged, her brother, Chris, a vice president and general manager at Station Casinos, and her husband, William (Neal) Bauer, M.D, a psychiatrist. Heather attended Coconino Community College and Northern Arizona University (NAU) in Flagstaff, Arizona and UNLV in Las Vegas, where she graduated with a degree in counseling. She became a certified substance abuse counselor in Nevada and secured a job with Montevista Hospital in Las Vegas where she met her husband, Neal, who was the director of the facility. Heather is also survived by her extensive extended family on both the mother's and father's sides too numerous to list here, residing in Las Vegas, Henderson, Flagstaff, Palm Coast, FL, Silver Spring, Baltimore, and Annapolis, MD, Grand Rapids, MI, Los Angeles, CA, Richmond, VA, and Seattle, WA. She will be sorely missed by her family and all who knew her. Please keep her in your prayers.
