Henderson, NV - Helen Mary McLeod, at the age of 104, passed away of natural causes on January 15, 2026 in Henderson, NV. Helen was born on May 24, 1921, in the historic mining town of Goldfield, Nevada. In 1938, she married her love, Daniel McLeod. One of her favorite stories are when she and Daniel decided to elope in the nearby town of Mina; they had arrived so late, they had to wake up the local justice of peace to marry them. As their family grew, they welcomed their son, Danny, and daughter, Sheila. Helen's memories were made of time spent with her husband and two children which included fishing adventures, crafting, cooking and socializing with family and friends. Though Daniel and Danny predeceased her, their memories remained a cherished part of her life. Helen was a dedicated member to the Eastern Stars, and she was approaching her 75th year of chapter membership.

The memory of Helen will remain in our hearts forever and she will be missed. Helen's life will be celebrated with a funeral service at Palm Mortuary 800 South Boulder Highway Henderson, NV on January 27, 2026 and all are welcome. Details include her viewing at 12pm, funeral services at 1pm, and after the burial, refreshments will be served at the Eastern Star Lodge on 480 Greenway Rd.
