JACQUELINE DYBECK
Jacqueline (Bell) Dybeck was born on December 30, 1951 to Thomas & Clarice Bell in Glendale, CA; she passed away on April 6, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV, after a three year battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter "Doc" Dybeck, her parents and her step-dad, James Powers. She is survived by her son, Daniel Nugent, grandsons Mason and Owen, siblings Miriam Clark, Ralph Powers (Mary), Patricia Ratcliff (George), Debi Keenan (Jeff), Bob Bell (Kerry) plus many nieces and nephews.
Jackie lived for many years in South Pasadena where she owned and operated three clothing stores; she eventually joined the team at Marshall's Department Store where she worked in Tarzana, Ventura and in Las Vegas. After Jackie moved to Las Vegas in 2006, she also joined the team at Green Valley Ranch where she formed many lasting friendships. Upon her marriage to Doc (a former US Navy Corpsman) in February 2015, Jackie became involved with the VFW Post 3848 Auxiliary where she served as a Trustee. She's remembered fondly by many friends from the VFW and GVR.
Jackie's memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 3rd at 11:00 AM (interment at 10:30 am) at Palm Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd, Las Vegas, followed by a Celebration of Life. All friends are welcome.
