Las Vegas, NV - James Ray Enus- husband, father, veteran, pilot, engineer, businessman, realtor & loyal friend- made his final exit leaving behind a legacy of generosity, service and love of family. Born in Paris, Texas, to Flora Mason and Trottus Enus, James to Las Vegas in 1962 after graduating high school with honors. Though awarded a full scholarship to Prairie View A&M, he chose to join his family in Las Vegas.

James met Claudette Nichols in 1963 and the two married on August 31, 1968. Together they built a loving family and welcomed two children Corey J. Enus and Jamie C. Enus.

A dedicated professional, James earned an A.A. degree from Clark County Community College and later graduated Summa Cum Laude from National University with a B.S. in Business Administration. His distinguished career included leadership roles with Arcata Associates, REECo, Bechtel Nevada, and the Clark County School District, where he retired in 2006 as Director of Security Systems.

James will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and willingness to help others without being asked. His life truly mattered, and his generosity made the world better.

James was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather James Mason, siblings Brenda, Troy, & Gary Mason, nieces Ebony Mason and Rochelle Robertson, and grandparents LeRoy and Marion Sears. He leaves behind his beloved wife Claudette; children Corey and Jamie; granddaughters; Kennedy, mother Kimberly Lippisch and Mayson, mother Ebby Ostrosky; special nephew Orren Webber; and many loving family members and friends.
