Las Vegas, NV - August 3, 1948 - January 22, 2026. Born in Beloit, WI, and raised in Albuquerque, NM, James "Jake" Thomas Keenan, Jr. moved to Las Vegas in 1976 with his wife, Louella. He was a man of specific and endearing tastes: Jamoca ice cream, Janis Joplin, 24/7 ESPN. He loved to read the newspaper early in the morning. He loved the deep heat of the desert and driving with the windows down in August. He possessed a St. Francis-like connection with animals. But above all, "Jaker the Joker" was very, very funny. He leaves behind a family who will miss his comedy and his care: his wife, "Lulu"; daughters, Jessica (Tyler) and Janice (John); and three grandchildren, Reagan, Jacob, and Lincoln.
