Jane Ruby Calavera, 66, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away on November 7, 2023. She was born on June 24, 1957, in Baguio, Philippines. Jane was a fun, outgoing and social person who loved to sing, dance and make memories with her family and friends.
Jane had a fulfilling career, working for many years in civil service roles at Nellis AFB. In her younger days, she even performed in a Polynesian dance troupe at several resorts on the Las Vegas Strip. She worked later as an accounts representative for a nationwide food distribution company.
In her free time, Jane enjoyed karaoke, bowling, hiking, and socializing with friends and family. She loved the beaches of Hawaii. Her natural beauty, vibrant personality and zest for life will always be remembered.
Jane is survived by her daughter, Tanya Brown-Wirth, her sons, Jason Brown and Joseph Gilardi, her daughter-in-law Crystal Schwarzmann, as well as her grandchildren: Samantha Brown, Makai Brown, and Alana Brown. She is also survived by her siblings, Donard Calavera, Richard Calavera, Christina Lanphere, Aldritz Calavera, Arlene Calavera, Bobby Calavera, Billain Villamor-Roldan, and William Falk, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria Falk, and her father, Tomas Calavera.
Memorial services to celebrate Jane's life will be held in Las Vegas, NV at a future date to be announced.
