LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Dorothy Jane (Sawyer) Spencer died on June 4, 2026. She is survived by her children, Ken (Ditas), Jack (Holly), Dan, Bobby, and David (Stella); nine grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Bob.

Jane graduated from Manistique High (MI) in 1964 and Central Michigan University in 1968, majoring in English. She moved to Las Vegas in 1981 and last worked for the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada. After retirement, she became an Episcopal deacon serving Northern Michigan and Nevada.

Her Service of Resurrection will be held at Christ Church Episcopal, Maryland Parkway/St. Louis on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 10:00 a.m.
