Janice Mae Roybal passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 24, 2022. Janice was born Oct. 22, 1937 in Kansas, and she was preceded in death by her parents Joseph Carr and Lyda Vanderwell, stepdad Charles Gaignat, brother Jerry and sister Barbara. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Phil, her daughter Suzanne, son Matthew, (Regina), grandson Ryan, granddaughter Jillian and brother Dick (Julie). Janice was a beloved wife, mother and grandmother who loved to read, knit, visit with her family, and listen to country music. She volunteered at St. Rose de Lima for over twenty years, and she was a devout member of St. Peter the Apostle Roman Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her kindness, her meatloaf and Midwest cooking, and the love she had for her family. Mass for Janice will be on May 19th at St. Peter's on 204 So. Boulder Highway in Henderson at 11 a.m. followed by graveside service and celebration of life at Palm Mortuary on Boulder Highway in Henderson.
