JEREMY WELLAN OLSON

Jeremy Wellan Olson was born February 21, 1974 in Seoul, Korea. He succumbed to cancer on June 5, 2025 at age 51. He is survived by his parents, Bill and Maureen Olson, his brothers, Andrew and Santiago sister Ann and sister-in-law Molly Joseph.

Jeremy came to America in October 1974. He had life long cerebral palsy but never allowed that to interfere with his goals. He graduated from Benilde-St. Margarets in 1992 and from UNLV with a teaching degree. He had a long successful career teaching at Las Vegas High School. He retired in 2014 because he could no longer physically cope. In his final teaching years he taught only AP classes. He loved sports. He was a soccer goalie as a kid and coached baseball and softball as a teacher. He had many friends and will be sorely missed.

Memorials may be made to Project 150 in Las Vegas, a charity to support homeless kids get through High School.
