JOANNE MILLER

JoAnne Miller (née Schaeffer), 81, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Born on December 19, 1944 in Roxborough, Pennsylvania, JoAnne was the daughter of Allan and Mildred Schaeffer. She carried the values instilled by her upbringing throughout her life, leaving a lasting impression on those who knew her. JoAnne found her niche as face and voice as the receptionist for a Las Vegas law firm where she enjoyed her daily interactions with the clients and community. JoAnne took great pride in the relationships that she was able to build with people. JoAnne also enjoyed traveling and seeing different areas of the world. JoAnne is lovingly remembered and her legacy is carried on by her two children: Michael Miller (Cheri Miller) of Sparks, Nevada, and Debra Reade (R. Christopher Reade) of Las Vegas, Nevada as well as her two sisters Elaine Schaeffer of Chattanooga, TN, and Jean Chupas (Carl) of King of Prussia, PA. JoAnne was most proud of her four grandchildren Sarah Powell Reade, Madeline Reade, Reagan Miller and Drake Reade. She was preceded in death by her husband Harry Miller as well as her parents, Allan and Mildred Schaeffer. May her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
