Las Vegas, NV - June E. Deley, 86, of Las Vegas, Nev., died peacefully at home on June 11, 2026.

She was born in Youngstown, Ohio, to Walter and Elizabeth (Korzon) O'Konski. She grew up riding her bike through Mill Creek Park, eating Handel's ice cream, and goofing off at the Idora Amusement Park.

In high school, June attended Girls State and made lifelong friends there. She never missed a football game so she could cheer on her boyfriend, Tommy Deley! She loved hanging out with Tom's boisterous family, crammed into their tiny kitchen laughing and playing cards. June also enjoyed pajama parties with her girlfriends, dressing up for school dances, and double-dating with Tom's brother Joey and her best friend Patty.

On March 17, 1962, June and Tom married. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary before his death in 2022.

Tom's Army career took the family all over the world. June loved the adventure! At every new post, she'd join the chapel choir and volunteer with the Officer's Wives Club. The Fulda (Germany) and Ft. Douglas (Utah) military communities recognized her for her outstanding and devoted service.

June enjoyed keeping in touch with old friends, visiting family in Youngstown, tending her houseplants and garden, taking family beach vacations, and RVing with the Vegas Rollers. At age 84, she retired from the Las Vegas Day School where she worked as an instructional aide for 12 years.

An active member of Trinity United Methodist Church for 45 years, June served as lay liturgist, Sunday School teacher, church office volunteer, and with Caring Ministries. For many years she served the Walk to Emmaus community after her first walk in 1994.

June is survived by her daughters Dorothea Deley (Mike Maxwell) and Tricia Deley, brother-in-law Doug Boeckler, niece Erica Miller (Bryan), grand-niece Krystal Boeckler, and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces/nephews and grand-grand-nieces/nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Tom, sister Shirley Boeckler, brothers-in-law Joe and Cy Deley, sister-in-law Betty Ann Shetter, and her parents.
