Las Vegas, Nevada - Karen Lee Jones passed away in Las Vegas on Saturday, May 2, 2026. She was born on February 16 in Kansas City, MO, 1940 to Leslie C. and Ercie A. Jones. Karen Lee attended Las Vegas High School, class of 1958 and BYU, returning to Las Vegas to enlighten the minds of grade school children. She later worked in hospital security but her true passion was her beloved pets. Her door was always open to dogs of any size, age, or breed.

Karen Lee was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Leslie Terry Jones. She is remembered by her sister-in-law, Betty Ann Jones, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews.

No services are planned, but friends may honor her memory with a donation in her name to the NSPCA or by adopting a shelter pet.
