LANCE ANTHONY MILLER
Lance Anthony Miller, 74, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, died on February 4, 2026. Lance was born in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Carrick High School, and worked for the Hays Army Ammunition Plant and the US Steel Edgar Thompson Works.
He was an Army veteran, stationed in Korea during the Vietnam War. During a cross-country trip, he fell in love with Las Vegas and eventually moved there, where he and his wife raised their son. Lance started his career as a poker dealer at Palace Station. He then realized his dream of becoming a bellman, first at the El Rancho and the Frontier, and later at the Stardust, where he worked until it closed. He was also a baggage handler at the Riviera and, for a time, Keno writer at the Desert Inn.
Lance loved eating Korean food, playing poker and following the Steelers and Lakers.
Lance is preceded in death by his parents, Tecla Spinelli and Anthony Miller. He is survived by his brother Robert; ex-wife Daneen Murphy; son Jarrett; grandson Jacob; nephews Chris and Alex; and great-niece Alivia.
A memorial service will be held on March 5, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Palm Mortuary-Northwest, located at 6701 North Jones Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89131.
