LAURA LEA HERDT-PHILLIPS

Laura lea Herdt Phillips, 73 years young born April 12, 1951, in Henderson, Nevada quietly slipped from us February 8, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Daughter of jack and Doris Herdt. Laura resided in North Las Vegas and is survived by her two sons, Jason Shelton and Clint Morrow; daughter-in-law Bobbi Morrow; grandchildren, Luke, Regan, and Levi Shelton, Gabriel and Jake Morrow; mother, Doris Herdt; brothers Mark, Matt, and Jeff Herdt; cousins, Steve and Sue Jones, Bill Galloway. Laura was proceeded in death by her son, James Shelton; father, Jack William Herdt; and recently her loving Aunt Nanny. Laura was a native of Las Vegas and graduated from Rancho high school and had many wonderful friends. Laura worked as a flight attendant with American trans air for many years and flew around the world to many countries. in retirement she was a school crosswalk attendant and only left her post because of cancer that took her life. Laura was laid to rest on valentine's day in the Lone Mountain cemetery, a few feet from her son, James Shelton. honored pallbearers were her sons, Jason and Clint; brothers Mark and Jeff; nephews, Travis Herdt and Robert Mills. Laura, you leave a close loving family, we miss you, say hello and give hugs and kisses to our loved ones in Heaven. We will hold to Jesus' promise until we meet again, your forever family.
