LAWRENCE KULAGA

Lawrence Kulaga, age 85, passed away on September 10th, 2025 in Henderson, NV. Lawrence was born in Cicero, IL to Marie and Michael Kulaga on October 4th, 1939. He had a mechanical background and after meeting his wife, Pat, found a career as a mechanic, then foreman in Elmhurst, IL at Elmhurst Public Works. They moved to Lombard to be closer to work. He retired after 26 years and the next day moved to Henderson to be closer to their first daughter and their first grandchild, Elisabeth. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Patricia Anne Kulaga née Spiller, daughter Debra Kulaga, brother Roger Kulaga and wife Kathleen nee Korzeniewski. He is survived by his son Lawrence Kulaga Jr and his wife Melissa Aschom, daughter Loretta Cox and her husband Jason, grandchildren Elisabeth, Rachel, Amanda, and Sara and great grandchildren Gianni, Gavin, Gage and Gwen. A service will be held at Hursen Funeral Home (Hillside, IL) to be announced at a later date on the Hursen Funeral Home and Davis Funeral Home websites. Burial will follow immediately after services.
