LINDA LEE AHERN

It is with great sorrow that the family of Linda Lee Ahern, announces her passing on January 30, 2025, at the age of 75. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born in Chicago, to Bernard and Helen Phelan. She married Daniel Ahern, on May 5, 1973, in Chicago, Illinois. Together they moved and settled in Las Vegas, Nevada, in 1984, where they raised their three sons Danny, Mark, and James. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Linda was known for her warm heart and her willingness to give love to those in need or just a helping hand. She was a selfless woman filled with compassion and a fighting spirit unmatched. Linda enjoyed traveling to Mission Bay, spending time with her family, and watching her grandsons play football on Friday nights during football season. One thing that Linda loved most in life was being a loving grandmother, she would move mountains for her grandchildren. Linda was fun to be around and had a contagious laugh that brought laughter to others when they heard it. Linda will be greatly missed and forever in her family's heart. She is survived by her husband, Dan Sr.; sons, Danny Jr, Mark, and James; grandchildren, Joseph, Gianni, Angelo, Chrystyoney, Nayellie, Anelly, and James Jr; sisters, Bernadine and Bobby; brother, Michael; her darling golden retriever Maddie; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family whom she loved dearly. Linda was preceded in death by her beloved brother, John Phelan, whose memory she held dear. Although Linda's life on Earth has come to an end, her family and friends will undoubtedly carry on her legacy. A celebration of life has been scheduled.
