Amargosa, Nv - Lisle Lowe, 88, Passed away July 3, 2026 at home in Amargosa Valley, NV. Born January 15, 1938 in Death Valley Junction, CA to David Walker Lowe, Sr. and Celesta Lisle Lowe, he was raised in Las Vegas, NV, and graduated from Las Vegas High School, where he played football and served as student body vice president.

He married Kathleen McDonald, and had two children, Suzanne and Melinda. Lisle taught school in Nye County, NV, and later became a licensed land surveyor and water rights specialist in Amargosa Valley. A resident of Amargosa Valley for over 50 years, Lisle served on many community boards.

He is survived by his daughter, Melinda Lowe Torres, her husband Ernesto, brothers Dale Lowe and David Lowe, granddaughters Angela Torres Duff, Monica Torres Duff, Ashleigh Penfield Reddick, grandsons Alexander Torres, Jared Penfield, and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Celesta Lowe, sister Janet Lowe, and his daughter Suzanne Lowe Penfield.

Viewing will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 8:30am at Lee's Mortuary in Pahrump, NV followed by burial at the Amargosa Valley Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 2:00pm at the Amargosa Valley Community Center.
