Las Vegas - MARJORIE JUANITA CLARK

Marjorie Juanita Clark, age 94, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on February 1, 1932, in Barbados West Indies. Marjorie later moved to the United States after marrying Marine Sergeant Dow Jay Clark II. Marjorie had 5 children: Dow Jay Clark III, Danny Lorin Clark, Geri Clark Hansen, David Jude Clark and Jennifer Marie Clark.

Widowed at a young age, Marjorie showed remarkable strength and dedication to her family. With the support of her mother, Barbara P. Storey, who moved in to help raise the children, Marjorie was able to work at the United States Postal Service, where she served as a clerk for several years in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

After her children graduated from high school, Marjorie left her position at the Post Office to focus on her next chapter of life. She remained in Virginia Beach until her eldest daughter, Geri who had moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, married Charles Hansen. Soon after, Marjorie and her mother followed, and over time, all of her children settled there as well.

Throughout her life, Marjorie was a devout Catholic who generously gave of her time and resources to numerous charities. She will be remembered for her faith, resilience, and deep love for her family.

She is survived by her children, Dow Jay Clark III, Danny Lorin Clark, Geri Clark Hansen, David Jude Clark and Jennifer Marie Clark; her son-in-law Charles Anthony Hansen and her cherished grandchildren Joshua Kirk, Scot Kelly, Hannah Clark and Jay Clark.

A memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, April 18, at 11:am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 5830 Mesa Park Drive Las Vegas, Nevada.
