Las Vegas, NV - Marsha L. Casteel, a beloved mother, grandmother and friend to many, passed away on April 27, 2026, in Las Vegas, NV. She was 74 years old.

Born on April 30, 1951 in Graceville, MN. Marsha lived a life filled with love, dedication and joy. Her journey was one of unwavering strength and faith. She spent over three decades nurturing children, where her gentle spirit and kind heart left an indelible mark on countless children and families. She found and embraced family and friends where ever she lived.

Marsha's family was the center of her life. She is survived by her children: Nettie Barba, her favorite Son-in-Law Troy Barba, Thomas Casteel III, Andy Castle, and Katie Casteel. Her legacy will continue through her nine grandchildren and nine siblings. She is predeceased by her husband, Thomas Allen Casteel Jr. Along with her parents Donald & Ruby Lanie and two siblings.

Marsha found immense joy in life's simple pleasures. She loved going to the beach, a place where the waves seemed to echo the rhythm of her soul. One of Marsha's treasured traditions was there yearly water balloon fights on Easter Sunday's, a playful celebration the will forever be remembered with laughter and smiles.

Her strong faith in God guided her through life's challenges and served as a beacon for those her knew her.

A celebration of Marsha's life will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, 10:00am - 12:00pm at Mission Hills Park 551 Mission Dr, Henderson, NV 89002

Marsha will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of her. Her memory will live on in the hearts she touched and the laughter she sparked during water balloon fights. May we carry forward the lessons she taught us about love's enduring power and life's simple joys.
