LAS VEGAS, NV - Mary Leone Mumpower, 99, passed away May 22, 2025 in Las Vegas. Born July 19, 1925 in Salt Lake, UT Raised in Salt Lake, then moved to Los Angeles, CA in her teen years. Mary worked lots of jobs from waitress, worked in the movies, working at Douglas Aircraft building planes for WWII. Mary met Fred Mumpower in High School and reconnected with Fred after WWII. They married in Las Vegas on April 5, 1953. Fred passed away July 11, 2007. He worked at LVMPD in CSI. Mary loved working in the yard and fixing all her roses and fruit trees. Feeding birds and the turtle. Loved painting and rebuilding things. Loved her new family room and bar with a glass of wine. Mary is survived by her son, Terry A. Bartlett, of Fremont, IN; son, Michael P. Mumpower, of Las Vegas; son, Mark D. Mumpower, of Las Vegas; and daughter, Penny L. King, of Springboro, OH. Mary was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother. Mary has lots of grandkids and great-grandkids. Mary will be dearly missed by family and friends. Celebration of life will be with family and friends on Mary's birthday.
