MICHAEL GEORGE FRIEDMAN

Michael "Mickey" George Friedman passed away on December 23, 2025. Mickey was born on February 4, 1959 to Robert and Shirley Friedman in Wild Rose, WI.

Mickey graduated from Warren Central High School in 1977 and earned an Associate Degree from IUPUI. He worked as a substitute teacher in both Indiana and Nevada and as a driver for Frito Lay, Domino's, Papa Johns, Uber and Lyft. He moved to Las Vegas in 2005 and lived there for almost 20 years. He retired and moved back to Indianapolis in May, 2025.

Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Sam Friedman, all his grandparents and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Surviving him are his mother, Shirley Friedman, two brothers, Russ (Gail) Friedman, and Kevin (Lori) Friedman, two sisters, Terri Masuda and Dani (Gary) Oertel, two nieces, one nephew, five great nieces and nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Mickey will be laid to rest in Kadoka, South Dakota. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Flanner and Buchanan, located at 10722 E. Washington Street in Indianapolis.
