August 16, 1952 - July 7, 2026

Michael Peter Pry - beloved father and friend — passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 73. Born on August 16, 1952, Mike was the middle of three children born to Leonard and Stella Pry. He moved to Las Vegas to attend the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where he played on the football team in the 1973-1975 seasons and earned a degree in business administration. His talent on the field led him to the NFL, where he played for the Washington Redskins and the St. Louis Cardinals. After his football career, Mike returned to Las Vegas, where he built a successful career in the food and beverage industry. He held leadership roles with Valley Hospital, Marriott, the Cosmoplitan of Las Vegas, and his alma mater (UNLV) where he was respected by colleagues and formed many lasting friendships. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Leonard and Stella Pry; his brother, Paul; and his sister, Judith Walker. He is lovingly remembered by his former wife and very dear friend, Judy Zito; his son, Christopher (Meg); and many extended family members, lifelong friends, former teammates, and colleagues who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held in Erie, Pennsylvania. Details for the service will be shared at a later date, please reach out to mcpry89@gmail.com
