NANCY J. ALDER
Nancy J. Alder passed away peacefully at home with her family on April 19, 2025. She was born in Gary, Indiana, to Sarah and Robert Yesh. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lynda, and brother Michael.
Nancy graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor of Arts. She spent most of her career in medical billing as a patient account manager. Her greatest joy was her grandchildren, and she retired the day they were born. Nancy was an avid sports fan, primarily following the Indiana Hoosiers, LV sports, and of course, her beloved Chicago Cubs. The Cubs logo could be found on her car, her shirt and she even had a dedicated bathroom filled with Cubs memorabilia.
Nancy is survived by her wife and life partner, Sharon Hester, her son Bruce Alder, daughter-in-law Cheri Alder, granddaughters Ava and Mia and Golden Retrievers, Maggie and Wrigley. Though she left us with an angel, her memories will remain with many.
