PATRICIA RUTH COLEY

Patricia Ruth Coley, 83, of Las Vegas, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2025, at home while on hospice care. Patricia was born on February 24, 1942, and made Nevada her home in 1956. During the 1950s, she volunteered for several years in the defense of North America as a member of the Ground Observer Corps. She spent more than 32 years working at the Stardust Hotel, where she was known as a dedicated and dependable employee. Patricia's work ethic was exceptional—she never once called out sick and took great pride in her career and the relationships she built throughout her many years of service. On August 21, 1981, Patricia married James Scott Coley, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage. James was the love of her life and her constant companion, and together they built a life rooted in loyalty, devotion, and deep mutual respect. Patricia was preceded in death by her son, Billy J. McDonnell. She is survived by her loving husband, James Scott Coley; her children, Alyce McDonnell, Cathy Dunn, and Roger McDonnell; and her grandchildren, Steven Premo, Martin Premo, and Erin O'Neal. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Kieran and Evangeline O'Neal. Patricia will be remembered for her strength, dedication, and unwavering commitment to her family and work. She leaves behind a legacy of reliability, love, and quiet resilience that will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
