Henderson, NV - Patricia Margaret Hill, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at home surrounded by family on June 9, 2025, in Henderson, Nevada, at the age of 77.

Born on January 15, 1948, in Arcadia, Wisconsin, Pat moved through life with warmth, humor, and an undeniable light. She moved to Las Vegas in 1969, met her husband Tom, and began her career as a telephone operator at Central Telephone Company. In 1973, she became part of Las Vegas history by helping open the MGM Hotel (now Horseshoe) as a PBX operator. Over the years, Pat took on supervisory roles and was instrumental in training staff during the launch of the Paris Hotel. She proudly dedicated herself to her work until retiring in 2022.

Beyond her professional life, Pat's greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her loving daughters Lisa Welch (Greg) and HyeHopes Hill, her brother William Jilk, her cherished grandchildren Brandy Hill (Mike), Tony Welch (Casey), Thomas Welch (Yamilet), Jade Schultz, and Noah Welch, and her 15 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind nieces, nephews, cousins, a sister-in-law, and many dear friends who were like family.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Hill, daughter Jennifer Hill, son Daniel Hill, her parents Bernard and Margaret Jilk, siblings Gary and Betty Jilk, and her in-laws Daniel and Jeanne Hill.

Known for her contagious smile and vibrant spirit, Pat lit up every room she entered. She loved life, was spontaneous, fun-loving, and deeply faithful. She had an unwavering devotion to her family and her recovery community.

With 37 years of sobriety, Pat was passionate about giving back. She devoted countless hours to sharing her strength, courage, and hope by taking recovery meetings into Juvenile Hall, hospitals, treatment centers, CCDC, honor camps, and prisons. Her service touched many lives and will continue to inspire those who follow in her footsteps.

Pat's legacy of love, faith, laughter, and service will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will forever be missed by many and will always be in our hearts.
