PATRICK MICHAEL DUSICK

Patrick Michael Dusick, 62, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away on April 26, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Patrick was born October 10, 1963, to Dorothy (Kowalewski) and Gerald Dusick, Sr., in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He graduated from Eau Claire North High School in 1981, and went on to attend Chippewa Valley Technical College, where he earned an associate degree in mechanical maintenance. He then moved to southeastern Wisconsin, where he worked for J.L. French, an aluminum foundry in Sheboygan, before taking a position at a cheese company in Milwaukee. Patrick later moved to Nevada, where he lived, worked, and retired this past July. His employment with Hassia International took him all over the country and to Germany. He retired after 20 years with Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, where he worked as an airport equipment mechanic. Nevada is where Patrick met his soulmate and the love of his life, Virginia Bacon (Smith). Together they enjoyed 25-plus years and built a beautiful life. With Virginia came four children whom Patrick loved as his own. Patrick enjoyed many outdoor activities, but camping and motorcycling were his greatest passions — first on his Yamaha and then his Gold Wing. He and his brother, Gerald, took many trips, both long and short, and he later shared his love of riding with Virginia. Patrick is survived by his brother, Gerald Dusick (Alice) of Chippewa Falls, WI, their three children, Amanda Freid (Tom), Chelsea Dusick, and Steven Dusick; a great-nephew, Sawyer Draxler; and a great-niece, Ava Draxler. Patrick is also survived by his devoted partner, Virginia Bacon (Smith), and her children, Lydia Kelley, Herbert Bacon (Jess), JoAnna Cabral, and Michel Bacon (Stormy); 12 grandchildren: Tempest Jenkins (Trey Jenkins), Audriana Glasscock (Zach Gray), Jacob Bacon (Abbie), Raeanna Sams (Ritchie Thompson), Anthony Henjum, Christian Cabral (Connor Short), Zeb Cabral, Brock Bacon, Brenden Bishop, Kenny Bacon, Kyla Hopper, and Lelianna Bacon; and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on June 27, 2026, at the Wright Community Center, 201 Wright Blvd., Wright, WY 82732; where Patrick had recently purchased a home and was looking forward to spending his retirement years. In lieu of flowers, donations in Patrick's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Lung Association.
