PATSY "PAT" RUTH

CROSS DODDS

(1932-2025)

Patsy (Pat) Dodds got her last wish, she died peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family on June 11, 2025, at the age of 92. Pat was born in Sentinel, Oklahoma on September 12, 1932, the youngest of twelve (12) children to Grover Henry and Lillie Mae Cross.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Henry and Lillie Mae Cross, six (6) sisters, Viola, Nellie, Izell, Idell, Genevieve, Lois, and five (5) brothers, Willie, Jack, Sam, Grover (Jr.), Buddy and one (1) granddaughter, Janessa.

Pat leaves behind her husband Clarence (Dean), her three (3) children, Mark (Cerny), Michael (Gail), Michelle (Bill), and two stepchildren Michael (Sue), and Deborah. She will be missed by her twelve (12) grandchildren, Ryan (Amber), Josh (Kortney), Alex (Genevieve), Shaun (Marina), Chris (Rebeka), Meghann (Josh), Jennifer (Brandon), Brendan (Tara), Kyle, Erinn (Drew), Christian, and Chase (Marinna). Pat also leaves behind seventeen (17) great grandchildren, Alexa, Brooklynn, Natalie, Emery, Lyla, Alysa, Liam, Jaelynn, Maxwell, Ava, Ayden, Finnley, Jayda, Reese, Matthew, Huxley, and Audrey.

Pat was married to her beloved husband Clarence (Dean) Dodds for sixty (60) years, a partnership that was a source (and still is) of great joy and strength to the family. Family was at the core of Pat's life, and she took joy in her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, excelling in school, sports, or in life in general. Pat was an avid reader, enjoyed "lunch dates" with her pals, and with Dean was a world traveler, visiting Alaska, England, France, Italy, Greece, Russia and Australia to name a few.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at Palm Eastern Mortuary (7600 S. Eastern Avenue Las Vegas, Nevada 89123) on July 1, 2025, from 8:30 am – 11:30 am.
