Henderson, NV - Paul Schmalhofer, born November 15, 1944, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on April 5, 2026 at the age of 81.


He was the son of the late Joseph and Mary Annette (Baker) Schmalhofer. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph and John, and his sister, Ann Wendel.


He is survived by his partner, Beth Jacoby, daughter, Julia Asquith, son in law (Gregory) of Anaheim, California; his beloved grandchildren, Ellen and Alex Asquith, stepchildren Brandon and Kristi Stavros.


Paul proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army, stationed in Fulda, Germany, near the East German border during a pivotal time in history.


He will be remembered for his zest for life, his humor, love of travel and music and most importantly for his kindness and generous spirit.


A celebration of life will be held at a future date.


He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
