Rick Lynn Willard, age 79, of Vancouver, WA, passed away suddenly on February 24, 2025. Rick was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, Godfather, and friend, known for his kind heart and gentle spirit. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and warm demeanor.
Rick was a true entrepreneur at heart. From selling life insurance and real estate to inventing the clackers and founding the first prepaid phone card, Talk N Toss, Rick's ingenuity knew no bounds. In 1993, he owned a pawn shop, re-built a 90-foot yacht, and started a prepaid debit card company. Rick was a visionary, a man who would like to be known for his faith, work ethic, and love for his family.
Rick was preceded in death by his son, Jay Bolan, who passed away on September 22, 2021. Rick is survived by his children Kandice (Luis) Castro, Brodi (Lucas) George, and Reed Willard. Rick had six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and three Godchildren.
Rick will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
