North Las Vegas, NV - Robert Lawrence Hart (Bob) Obituary

Bob Hart was born on October 22, 1942, in Barberton, Ohio, to Robert Ellis Hart and Martha Louise (Stombaugh) Hart. He graduated from Barberton High School and was employed by Babcock & Wilcox when he met his future wife, Joanne Rita Carroll. Bob and Joanne were married in October 1963 and had four children.

After their marriage, Bob began working for Westinghouse Finance. In 1972, he was transferred to Las Vegas, where he and Joanne raised their family. In 1984, he entered commercial real estate and later joined Nevada State Bank, where he served for many years as Vice President of SBA Loans. He retired at the age of 72.

Bob was deeply involved in his community and faith. He was an active member of the Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, the North Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and the Corvette Club. He and Joanne enjoyed extensive international travel and took many cruises together. Bob also loved golfing, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

Bob was a devoted father. He is survived by his children: Robert (Janet) Hart, Cathy Kendall, and Cheri (Karl) Braun; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, his brother Richard Hart, and his son Joseph Hart.

There's an open gate at the end of the road,
