Robert "Hammer" Rosen, 75, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on March 16, 2026. He was born on June 23, 1950, in Newark, New Jersey.

Bob grew up in Newark before relocating to California in the early 1960s. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy, and went on to build a meaningful career as a harness horse trainer and driver - a world he loved deeply. He later brought that same dedication to the film industry, including a credit on the Coen Brothers' classic The Big Lebowski. The Dude would have abided by Bob's life.

Bob was a straightforward man who found joy in simple things - the excitement of the track, Dodger Blue, and above all, the faces of his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jewel and Morton Rosen and his sister Jody Rosen. He is survived by his former wife, Colleen Rosen; his three children, Bradley (Alice Teyssier), Matthew, and Sadye; and his two grandchildren, Lucien and Bleuenn, with a third grandchild arriving this May.

A private family service will be held.
